Pressed flowering chard is featured in this cyanotype style print, inspired by the famed English botanist Anna Atkins (1799-1871). This original work started with a real plant, cultivated, collected and pressed by me. This chard plant was grown in my organic backyard garden, where it overwintered and went to seed the following year. The cyanotype effect and visually textured background have been digitally added, and I have carefully selected the perfect crisp white fine art paper and vibrant long lasting inks to create a piece of art you will be proud to display!
